Job Title: Video and Imaging Developer

Security Clearance Requirement: None
Security Clearance Preference: TS with SCI elegibility

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen

• Gain and maintain a working knowledge of all Pixia software products

• Develop core modules for decoding and transcoding video and various compressed image formats, including JPEG2000

• Specification level understanding of video streaming and JPEG2000

• Stay at par with video and image compression technologies and trends

• Expert understanding of MISB specifications and compliance levels

• Act as subject matter expert on all things video- and imagery-related

• Must be located in the Washington, DC metro area

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

• No 3rd party candidates; principals only

Skillsets:

• Strong development skills in C++ and/or Java

• Intimate knowledge of MPEG, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, transport streams, FLV, SWF

• Intimate knowledge of JPEG, JPEG 2000, Motion JPEG, JPIP, PNG, GeoTIFF, NITF

• Experience with KLV metadata
